Jazz On The River is located on the scenic Russian River at Johnson’s Beach, Guerneville, CA. An hours driving time above San Francisco, surrounded by vineyards, Guerneville proclaims to be 'A Hate Free Zone.' Johnson's Beach is downtown within walking distance of quaint shops and restaurants. Nestled in the coastal redwoods of Northern California, hiking trails, and wine tasting are prevelent. The Pacific Ocean is 14 miles to the west, Santa Rosa is to the south and Healdsburg to the north.

Wine Tasting: Jazz on the River will feature wine tasting from several of Sonoma County’s world famous wineries. For a nominal additional fee, Festival attendees 21 years and older will be able to taste premium wines from these featured wineries. Proceeds from the wine tasting will benefit the Sonoma County charity Food for Thought. So help us support this worthy local cause and enjoy premium wines at the same time. Food for Thought is a private non-profit organization established in October, 1998 and is dedicated to developing a comprehensive nutritional program pertinent to the needs of People Living with Symptomatic HIV Disease/AIDS in Sonoma County. From their Food Bank located in downtown Forestville, they distribute groceries, nutritional supplements, vitamins and minerals, basic dietary information, concern, caring, and occasional hugs for free to close to 450 clients per year county-wide. All of their clients are eligible to receive weekly bags of groceries. For those severely affected by AIDS, they also offer a variety of easily-prepared frozen meals. They are the only food bank in the area whose volunteers provide delivery service on a weekly basis to any client who is homebound because of illness or inability to drive.

Directions: Exit Highway 101 at River Road and take it West for 17 miles. Then take a Left on Church Street. The Front Gate is located on the corner of Church & First Street. Just follow the signs for parking.
