Lake Tahoe Music
Festival 2008

There aren't too many places on earth that compete with Lake Tahoe for the most beautiful place on earth. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Nevada state line runs through the middle of the Lake.

2008 marks the 26th consecutive season of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival. Founded in 1982 by Edgar Braun, conductor of the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, the Festival has grown in scope yearly with the dedication and involvement of many local residents and businesses. With eight concerts, three scenic venues, over 10,000 expected attendees and the diverse programming in our upcoming "Season of Classics," the Lake Tahoe Music Festival remains the largest summer cultural event benefiting our local communities and a major attraction throughout the West.
